Interviews, Finals, and CHRISTMAS

Okay fun fact. I actually did this blog during finals week before Christmas, but for some reason just saved it and didn't publish it, so I am now. At some point I'll do a new blog post that actually includes the break.

So as many of you know I am in the process of applying to medical school. The schools are so kind and let you come out and visit for an interview. They are even nice enough to let you pay for it all. Seriously though I guess I am glad I have gotten interviews even if they are a money pit. Here are some of trips so far.

This is Washington University in St. Louis. Don't get confused, its not in Washington D.C. or in Washington state.

Next was Johns Hopkins, and the campus and you can see is beautiful.
Then there was University of Colorado. I loved this interview because my mom, Eliza, and Matt all drove out with me so it wasn't so lonely like the first few ones. Apparently I didn't take any pictures of the medical school, but I did of the zoo. Another highlight.

Then there was Baylor. Luckily Matt came with me again, which was so fun. He did some of his own interviews while we were there and we really liked it. I also recently interviewed with Duke, but luckily they do skype interviews so I didn't have to fly out there.

So far those are all the interviews I have been to, and I'm still waiting to hear back. No yea or nay yet.

To my next topic... finals. Really all I have to say is that they are over and we both survived. Matt survived extremely well considering he was basically done with finals by noon on Monday.

To the best topic of all, CHRISTMAS!
I can't even explain how much I love Christmas and how many traditions I have. I tried to make our little apartment look Christmasy even though they orange walls aren't exactly a Christmas color.

We even got a real tree. This made me so happy

I have been counting down the days to Christmas.
Matt thinks I get even more excited than little kids, and he is probably right. I would wager on it.
